6 requirements

21+ years old

Federal minimum age for interstate Class A commercial driving. For owner-operator partnerships, insurance sets its own floor — specific thresholds confirmed during the application conversation.

Valid Class A CDL

Issued by your state of residence, in good standing. Endorsements (HazMat, doubles/triples, tanker) aren't required for our standard lanes but can open additional load options.

2+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience

Continuous over-the-road experience preferred. We review local-only experience case-by-case. If you're close on the experience requirement but have other strengths, tell us anyway.

Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Standard FMCSA-required medical certification and pre-hire screening. Random drug testing is part of the job under federal regulation. If that's a problem, this isn't the right work.

Clean compliance record under FMCSA regulations

Thresholds for moving violations, accidents, and previous compliance issues get walked through during the application process. We're not auto-rejecting on a single past mistake — we're looking for a pattern of safe, compliant driving.

Owner-operator equipment in good running condition

Truck and trailer (flatbed, gooseneck, or deck-over) need to meet our equipment standards and your insurance requirements. Equipment specifics get walked through during the application conversation.
